We aim to provide our children with an exciting and creative Curriculum, which encompasses the national Curriculum. We want our children to enjoy learning and believe that whenever possible they should experience creative and practical experiences.

We also teach R.E. (Religious Education) and P.S.H.E. (Personal,social,health education.) Of the 27.5 hours in the normal school week 23.5 hours are spent teaching the agreed curriculum. The remaining time is spent on assemblies, registration and playtimes.
At Ronald Ross Primary School, we teach children from the ages of 3 to 11. Our Early Years classes are the nursery and reception. Years 1 & 2 study in Key Stage 1, and Years 3,4, 5 and 6 study in Key Stage 2.
Children will be taught the core subjects all through the year. P.E., R.E., Music, Art & I.C.T. are also taught throughout the year. Design Technology , History & Geography are taught in blocks during the year.
